重新發行黑膠版本專輯‘The Crucifixion of Rapper
Extraordinare, Slug Christ’的Slug Christ，當中”They Ask Me”被評選為RRs最佳單曲。這張專輯充滿神聖式的氛圍以及信仰式的暗喻，但其實當中充滿反諷，歌詞中將自己比喻為”神”的他寫道總是需要回應許多要求及問題，但其實神聖的人也是會有黑暗的一面。不同於其他的饒舌歌手，Slug Christ的喃喃自語式的風格更為這張專輯增添色彩。
將自己的音樂風格定義為自殺式的類型，Slug Christ事實上正前往重生的路上。
As his Vinyl album ‘The Crucifixion of
Rapper Extraordinare, Slug Christ’ released in Feb, the forth track “They Asked
Me” is named as Best New Track by Review Reviews.
With saint-themed atmosphere, this album is
full of metaphor of religion, but on this track, Slug Christ wrote this song as
GOD but not the HIM, lyrics says “A warm and gentle sun burn inside of me”
means there’s a dark side of himself. Unlike the others rapper, Slug’s humming
style rap is outstanding with his lyrics. Define his genre as suicide, Slug Christ
is on the way to reborn instead.
